Hi Gary, thanks for the kind words below. I second your comments that we had a great group. Participating in the Chapter Challenge was a previledge. Thanks for all the work you did prepping the team and offering advice for the lake. I know for Cheryl and I, it paid bid dividends. Can't wait to do it again next year. Jerry and Cheryl Ford

To all chapter members who recently fished the Gil Hamm Chapter Challunge. Maybe you caught your personal best, maybe you caught your 1st fish casting, maybe you caught your 1st spotted muskie. In any event, I am very proud of the way that all of us reprecented this chapter at the event. I got to know some of you for the 1st time, not as faces, but as people. I think, that for the group of anglers who came that knew very little of anything about Leech lake, we all did ourselves proud. Best wishes for a great and successful fall musky season. Gary.

Lake Vermilion MN. Just got back from a week trip to Lake Vermilion. Only chased muskies couple morning. Worked for food other days with group I was with. Cool weather shut off all fish catching. Two guys from KY. Fished 10 hours a day for 6 days and did not catch a muskie.
